Protest: Subarus aloud in D1SL 2014/2015!!!!?????
I know I'm not the only one who wants something different than S-Chassis bullshit. And the only thing stopping Subaru's from being aloud, is the rule that says you need to have Sport transmission. Obviously when you make a Subaru RWD you can't upgrade the drive-train (thus putting everything to race) which makes it against the rules. I think Akihiro and staff should consider making a Subaru exception to this rule! Anyone else think so?

There are plenty of legal cars to pick from out of the many Japanese cars in the game. It's just that not many people have bothered trying them yet.J Defy wrote:I know I'm not the only one who wants something different than S-Chassis bullshit. "S-Chassis bullshit" - I've heard people talking about wishing S-Chassis were competitive in a competition for a while now, and this is the perfect opportunity. All the cars will be quite even to be honest (from what I've seen in practice sessions so far).
Changing the regulation, or making exceptions for the Subaru's, will be unfair to the rest of the field. And besides, it defeats the whole object of the regulations being there in the first place. This is D1 STREET LEGAL. I'm following most of the real regulations and I'd say most people are happy with them so far. A lot of people moaned about using a dog-box tranmission, but honestly, it's really easy to make it work. It's not my fault that the game implemented a straight up full race-spec drivetrain for RWD swaps on Subaru's!

I understand the rules, but still think there needs to be some boxer love in the game. Haha. It's all good though.

Yeah, I agree 100%, but Turn 10 decided to implement a full-race spec RWD conversion for all Subaru's which kind of sucks I guess.Dr. Venkman wrote:I understand the rules, but still think there needs to be some boxer love in the game. Haha. It's all good though.

So long as they only have a dog box trans set up they should be. I don't see why they wouldn't.

Yes, Puppet. I should probably clarify that in the regulations.
